Hey y’all,
Happy Friday! Here’s a comic that doubles as a drawing lesson.
You may be wondering what the plan for all these short comics is?
Well honestly it’s too soon to talk about anything concrete— But of late I’ve become very inspired by the format of solo anthology comics like EIGHTBALL by Dan Clowes, and WILL EISNER QUARTERLY.
A friend called my loose plans— “a comic for people who love comics”.
I like the challenge of that. Maybe we should chop down some trees?
Speaking of comics— Did you miss FRISKY FOX?
No biggie. You can the first installment of the comic in its entirety, for free, HERE.
Not sold yet? Check out this little teaser trailer I recently animated:
Sometime soon we’ll have to get into the weeds about the overlaps and divisions between animation and comics. Admittedly, I have a lot fewer hours under my belt with the former— but it’s a life long interest. One which my experiences with the last couple of years have REALLY helped to reaffirm and renew my interest in.

ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE

Now on Netflix

Speaking of animation— I HIGHLY recommend SCAVENGER’S REIGN on MAX. A truly gripping, creepy, beautiful, sci fi foray into adult animation. I just finished the finale. So expect some fan art sometime.
That’s it for now. Hope y’all have a great weekend. More soon…
