Hey, y’all. Here’s an old comic made new (or finally finished)…
I initially drew this comic with a number 2 pencil, on typing paper, in the cafeteria of a hospital on X-Mas Eve of 2012.
Making it is a vivid and indelible memory because it was part of a run of sickness and death that seemed to stick its claws into my family for 4 or 5 straight Christmases.
But I also remember it because it was around that time that I started making X-Mas comics in earnest. The holidays aren’t always great for everyone, but I hope this made you smile or laugh. It sure helped me when I made it.
More soon…
Brilliant as always Jason, hope 2023 is good to you, and selfishly, we get a ton of new stuff from you (Hell I'd even buy a Basketball Comic if you did one!)
Thanks for taking the time to make this during what sounds like a horrible time, and sharing it now — I did almost spray my phone with coffee when I read that last panel — hope your Christmas is great this year!
