Art is the reason I'll pick up a comic; if the story's good it's a bonus, and as Art is subjective I have no idea what Comics you'd enjoy!!! That said, from this year my favourites (aside from your stuff) were 'Judge Dredd: Control' collection featuring the extraordinary art of Chris Weston (a more naturalistic Bolland), 'Petrolhead'; stunning art by Pye Parr and great world building by Rob Williams, 'Giant Robot Hellboy'; Fegredo is firing on all cylinders creating a brilliant new Hellboy sub-verse, 2 vols of Philip Bond's Kickstarted 'Geezer', Gabriel Walta's 'Phantom Road', Steve Pugh's 'Peacemaker' and the latest Mick McMahon 'SLAINE' Apex Edition; just to stare at.
In terms of just GREAT COMICS I'd recommend, that may not be on your radar: Adam Brockbank's 'Mezolith' 1 & 2, 'Jazz Maynard' 1 & 2, Glyn Dillon's 'Nao Of Brown, 'Nelson' by various UK artists, 'Skulldigger' by Tonci Zonjic, 'Scarlet Traces', 'Leviathan' & 'Stickleback' by D'Isreali, Asaf Hanuka's 'The Realist' series and ANYTHING by the Immonens.
